About Us
Hi, I am Denette Russell and with my husband Dave we are proud parents of 3 beautiful children. McKenzie (21), Hailey (17), and Noah (8). As health and wellness coaches and certified nutritionists we are passionate about helping you get to the next level and create balance in your life. Our mission is to change the world for the better one person, one home, one family at a time. We feel with more love and education people can be empowered in their health and wellness in a naturally holistic way.
We live in Lincoln Nebraska on an acreage with 2 horse, periodically 3-4 cows, 3 cats, 2 dogs, and a rabbit. I have spent most of my life as a preschool teacher and owning my own preschool. However, when I was not teaching or working with children I was always learning more and more about health and wellness. David spent 12 years in the military, 4 years in Iraq, and was a personal trainer and involved in the nutritional supplement industry when I meet him. Together we continued to have a journey of health and wellness and be role models for our children by living healthy lives. That is when I was introduced to essential oils. We exercised and ate right but there was something missing.
My daughter had some major health issues and Dave was having some problems dealing with his time in Iraq. About 2 years ago friend posted on Facebook about a class she was having about essential oils. I showed up with about 15 min left in the class and LOVED what I heard. I started on the journey to incorporate essential oils into our life and it was the missing link. It was like the missing piece to the puzzle. We were able to remove toxins from our home that cause so much damage to our bodies, as well as support our immune system, and improve emotional balance. IT WAS AMAZING!!! I will be honest; Dave was not completely onboard at first. Because he had spent so much time in the nutritional industry in the past, he thought it was just one more thing in the market. However, after he started to see the COUNTLESS positive effects is was having on everyone he started to try them. He was then hooked. As we researched more about the company with co-impact sourcing, the purity and science behind the oils, and the lives it was changing around the world we knew what our calling was and the vehicle for us was doTERRA. Now we are on the journey that we wanted so much. The journey of helping people around the world have a more balanced life, to be empowered, and have hope in their future. Our lives have been changed and blessed, now it's our job to do that for others.
